Sasha Mahmood Butt is an immigration attorney dedicated to guiding individuals and their families through the complexities of the U.S. immigration system. Sasha became licensed to practice law in 2020 after earning her Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law.
As a second generation American citizen, Sasha is passionate about advocating for immigrants’ rights. Sasha cultivated skill sets for representing individuals belonging to marginalized immigrant communities as a student attorney for the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau in Boston. After graduating law school, Sasha started her career as a litigator, representing immigrant victims of domestic violence in family court.
In 2022, Sasha began practicing immigration law, serving refugees and immigrant victims of crime. She specializes in immigration matters before USCIS. Drawing from her extensive experience working in non-profit organizations, Sasha is a trauma informed and client centered advocate. With a commitment to excellent and compassionate representation, Sasha works collaboratively with clients to provide support throughout the legal process.
